Amico Meatballs

Description

This recipe is one of Johnsy's favorites and has been tried and tested for over a decade and a half!

Ingredients
  • 1 pound of Ground Beef
  • 2 pounds of mild or hot Italian Sausage
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup of Breadcrumbs (seasoned preferred)
  • Seasonings - salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian herbs
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and add seasonings, about 1/2 teaspoon each. Season to taste.
  2. Mix thoroughly with your hands, gloves are recommended for this step.
  3. If mix is a tad dry and hard to mix, add a little water. Be sure to add small amounts at a time.
  4. Once completely mixed, pinch some and roll into balls of desired size. The only key is to make them as uniform as possible, so they cook evenly together.
  5. Enjoy with your favorite sauce, plain or in a killer pasta dish!
